Cynthia "Cindy" M Parsons, born August 28th, 1955 in Cozad, Nebraska to Georgia (Sheets-Parsons ) Bartlett and Melvin Parsons and went to be with her Lord on June 29th, 2017 after a short battle with cancer.   
  Cindy attended school at Lucerne Valley District 27 from kindergarten through 6th grade and then attended Cozad City Schools graduating in 1973. She graduated from Hastings Community College with an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science.
  On September 27th, 1975 Cindy married Greg Newton from Lexington, Nebraska. During this time she was employed at Countryman and Associates in Lexington. In 1983 Cindy moved to Kearney to accept a position at Eaton Corporation and later was employed with BD Construction. On May 24th, 1985, her daughter Kristina Marie was born at Good Samaritan Hospital.  
  In 1995 Cindy married David Brundage and moved back to Cozad in 1996. She was employed with Berrreckman and Berreckman Law Office and later became self employed with her bookkeeping service.  
  Her first grand babies, Hayden and Jordyn Pape, were born in July 2009 so Cindy moved to Lincoln to be closer to her family. In 2012 a third grand baby Ashlyn joined the family. Cindy's grand babies were her world. While in Lincoln she continued her bookkeeping service and developed a substantial client base and a network of extremely supportive friendships.    
  Survivors include her daughter Kristy and husband Steve Pape, grand babies Hayden, Jordyn and Ashlyn all of Lincoln, Nebraska. Three sisters; Kathy Gray-Goos of Holdrege, Nebraska, Pam and husband Bill Houchin of Riverdale, Nebraska and Mona and husband Rick Meyer of Mesa, Arizona. Two brothers, Lonnie and wife Kelly Parsons of North Platte, Nebraska and Michael and wife Jennifer Bartlett of Cozad, Nebraska.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  
  Those preceding her in death were her parents Georgia Bartlett, Wayne Bartlett, Melvin Parsons and her niece Carly Gray.  
  The family has chosen cremation with a Memorial Service on Thursday, July 6th at Faith Bible Church in Lincoln, Nebraska at 11:00 a.m.
