Frank J. Policky, 88, of Cozad, Nebraska, died Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at Good Samaritan Society-St. John´s. Mr. Policky will be cremated and services will be held at Ft.   Franklin Joe Policky was born on October 27th, 1928 in Broadwater, Nebraska to Vladislav
¨Bud¨ and Mildred (Waggerby) Policky. He grew up in the Broadwater area and graduated from Sunol High School. Following high school, he worked for farmers in the area.
  He was united in marriage to Luilla Frerichs on October 1st, 1950. Five children were born to this marriage.
  Frank entered the United States Army, completing basic training at Ft. Hood and was then stationed at Ft. Polk and later Germany where he served as a tank mechanic.
Following his honorable discharge, he worked in the oil fields of the Nebraska Panhandle. He later moved to Columbus where he met Helen Gasper. Frank and Helen were united in marriage on August 27th, 1965.Three children were born to this marriage. In 1975 they moved to Cozad.Frank worked as an auto mechanic and millright. Later he worked in the hospitality business.
  Frank enjoyed drag racing and spending time in the outdoors, especially fishing and
hunting.
  Survivors include his wife Helen of Cozad; his children, Adam (Michael) Policky and his
wife Dawn of Portland, ME, Heather Armbrust, Price Policky and wife Rose of Astoria, OR, Karin Tilley and husband Michael of Lakewood, CO, Jeff Policky and wife Kathy of Chadron, NE, Anton Policky and wife Cindy of Scottsbluff, NE, Kim Hart of Broadwater, NE; a daughter-in-law, Kim Policky of Kearney; 19 grandchildren, and a sister, June Murphy of Manta, Ecuador,
  He was preceded by his parents; a sister, Shirley Policky; a son, Brian Policky; and a brother-in-law, Art Murphy.
